This star trail image is a composite of 260 40-second images acquired a part of a star lapse video. it was shot with a Canon 60Da and Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 lens. The dome rotated during the sequence giving the interesting "infrared" look to the dome structure. Individual images were processed with Adobe Lightroom and then the star trails were assembled using an action and automation. The whole process is detailed in issue #78 of Amateur Astronomy Magazine in the article "Astro-Imaging Lite".
